The Cuvee 742 from Jacquesson is an extra-brut champagne, a true champagne for connoisseurs. It is made from a blend of 57% Chardonnay, 21% Pinot Noir and 22% Pinot Meunier from the Côte des Blancs and the Marne Valley (Avize, Oiry, Ay, Dizy and Hautviller) .
This range of brut is numbered so that everyone can differentiate the vintages from one year to the next. The year 2014 gives birth to the Cuvee 742 from Jacquesson. A rainy and mild winter, followed by a hot, dry spring. A sunny month of September which allows for a beautiful harvest. The Cuvee 742 from Maison Jacquesson is vinified in old tuns.
Champagne tasting :
To the eye, pale yellow color with golden reflections.
On the nose, opening onto ripe fruit and notes of pastries.
In the mouth, we feel a tense and mineral wine.
Champagne Cuvee 742 Jacquesson goes particularly well with foie gras, fish, shellfish and crustaceans or even poultry. Champagne of beautiful intensity, deep volume and with an energy that will also be appreciated from the aperitif.
